Baggies keeper Luke Daniels to stay with Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Scott Bevan has completed a permanent move to Blue Square Premier promotion hopefuls Torquay United. Bevan has joined the Gulls on a free transfer and agreed an 18-month deal following a successful loan spell at Plainmoor. "Scott has done well during his time with Torquay and helped them to a very good position in the league. They asked if they could make the move permanent and we are happy to do that," Shrews boss Paul Simpson told his club's website. Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion keeper Luke Daniels is to extend his loan stay at Shrewsbury. The 20-year-old will stay with the Shrews until the end of January with Simpson hoping to further extend the deal for the rest of the season.
