Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Scott Bevan has moved to Blue Square Conference club Torquay United on a one-month loan deal.
The 6ft 7in custodian has struggled for playing time this season following a knee operation over the summer.
Bevan is keen to get back his match sharpness and has thanked Shrews boss Paul Simpson for allowing him the opportunity to join Torquay.
"I'm grateful to Paul Simpson for loaning me out," he toldskysports.com.
"I'm glad to be going out to be honest, to get some games under my belt.
"Hopefully I'll get the opportunity to impress down at Torquay and show everyone exactly what I can do."
