Bury have completed the signing of Danny Racchi, as first revealed by skysports.com on Friday.
The defender has impressed while on trial at Gigg Lane having left Huddersfield Town in the summer.
Racchi, who can also play in midfield, has put pen to paper on a 12-month contract at the League Two club.
Shakers boss Alan Knill has been busy in the market all summer, with Racchi becoming the club's fifth signing of the pre-season.
It is expected Bury will make a decision on trialists Phil Marsh and Mike Jones by the end of the week.
