Grimsby defender Nick Fenton is hoping to discover soon whether he will be staying at Blundell Park.
Fenton was placed on the transfer list at the end of last season after falling down the pecking order under Alan Buckley.
The 28-year-year-old has previously vowed to give his all for the Mariners should he remain at the club, but he is anxious to learn his fate.
He has a couple of other options but is still in the dark as to where he will be plying his trade come the start of the season.
"Not much is happening on the move front," Fenton told the Grimsby Telegraph. "I am waiting for a few clubs to get back to me so we'll see what happens.
"I think a lot are waiting to see what their budgets are. Until then it's a waiting game.
"But I've been back training with Grimsby and that's been fine."
