Grimsby Town have strengthened their defence again with the signing of Richard Hope from Wrexham.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Mariners confirmed a deal had been agreed to bring in Matt Heywood from Brentford.
Hope will now join Heywood in the Grimsby squad for next season after accepting a two-year contract at Blundell Park.
The 30-year-old only joined Wrexham last summer from Shrewsbury Town, but was made available for transfer after the club's relegation from the Football League.
He made 35 appearances for the Welsh side and also numbers Darlington, Northampton Town and Chester City among his former teams.
