Liam Henderson is hoping to break into Watford's first-team next season after signing his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old, who has four goals in 12 appearances for the reserves, has penned a one-year deal with the promotion-chasing Championship outfit.
Henderson is now hoping for a strong pre-season with Adrian Boothroyd's team with the hope of playing first-team football and extending his contract.
"I'm finishing the season on a high at the moment," he told the club's official website.
"I want to have a strong pre-season and hopefully get noticed by the manager.
"I want to improve and push on and hopefully get my next contract."
