West Brom striker arrives on loan

Wrexham have brought in striker Stuart Nicholson on a three-month loan deal from West Bromwich Albion. Nicholson is likely to go into the Wrexham squad for Saturday's game against League Two leaders Milton Keynes Dons providing the paperwork is finalised. The 20-year-old has already played in League Two this season, after scoring once in 14 appearances for Shrewsbury Town. He was due to stay at New Meadow for the entire season, but the deal was terminated before Christmas by Shrews boss Gary Peters. But Nicholson has been allowed out of the Hawthorns again and will look to boost a Wrexham attack which has mustered just 15 goals in 24 league games this season.
