Barnet boss Paul Fairclough believes he will struggle to keep away interest in Jason Puncheon after his hat-trick secured a 3-1 win over Dagenham.
The midfielder's treble just a week before the January transfer window opens is certain to generate interest from higher up the order and Fairclough knows he will eventually have to let the youngster go.
"We could have done without Jason getting a hat-trick in one respect with the window about to open," said Fairclough.
"We don't have to let players go but if we are being realistic then everyone has a price.
"Jason's got Premier League ability in terms of his technique, it's the mental aspect of his game we are working with.
"He's only a young player and I'd like more time to work with him, but we won't be able to hold him back if he keeps turning in performances like that."
