Wycombe Wanderers defender Mike Williamson has suffered a setback in his comeback from injury.

The 24-year-old has been out for over nine months with a cruciate knee injury but has now broken a bone in his arm in a training incident.

Manager Paul Lambert admitted the news was a further setback in Williamson's battle to regain full fitness.

Bad luck

Lambert said: "This is terrible bad luck.

"He has patiently followed the rehabilitation programme that he was given after the operation on his knee and he recently started training with the squad.

"He's likely to be set back for several weeks."
