FA Cup hero tipped for bright future

Graham Turner feels Hereford United's FA Cup hero Lionel Ainsworth can 'go a long way'. Ainsworth - a summer signing from Derby County - scored the only goal at Elland Road to earn Hereford a surprise FA Cup first-round replay win over Leeds United. His effort took his tally to eight since his free transfer move and he has been tipped for a bright future by Bulls boss Turner. "He's got a great shot with both feet and plenty of pace," said Turner. "He's got a good pedigree and if he keeps his feet on the ground, he could go a long way. "I thought we deserved to win overall. We defended well and created quite a few chances. "We weren't overawed in any way and took a lot of confidence from the first game. Leeds may have hit hard times, but they are a big club and this is still a big scalp. "But we've got to come back down to earth and think about Accrington on Saturday. The manager in me thinks that's more important, but the chairman likes the money we get from the cup."
