Bobby Williamson admits Chester City miss Richie Partridge when the winger is injured.
Partridge sat out last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Bradford City with a calf injury and is battling to be fit to face League Two leaders MK Dons on Saturday.
Chester boss Williamson outlined the qualities Partridge brings to his team, and concedes he has no one else to replicate the wide man's impact.
"We ask a lot of Richie, he is performing and performing well," said Williamson.
"He is a handful and troubles defenders and we've not got anybody else like him.
"Everybody else we have got in the team ducks back out, they come back beyond their man and roll the ball back to a midfield player or a full-back and we want them to go at people and be positive and we've not really got such a player as that."
