Tykes to listen to offers for midfielder

Barnsley boss Simon Davey says he will listen to offers for Dwayne Mattis. The midfielder is currently in the middle of a three-month-loan spell at Walsall. Davey has hinted the move could be made permanent if the two clubs can thrash out a deal for the 26-year-old.

Price

"Every player on the planet has a price and we will listen to what Walsall have to say," Davey told The Express and Star. Barnsley paid £50,000 to sign Mattis last January but he has struggled to gain regular first-team action at Oakwell.
