Shrews seen off after two home defeats

Three second-half goals saw Chester beat Shrewsbury and move up to third in League Two. After a goalless first-half at the Deva Stadium, Ritchie Partridge opened the scoring for the home team on 62 minutes. Darren Moss then equalised for the visitors on 69 minutes, but two goals in quick succession - from John Murphy (72) and Simon Yeo (73) - were enough to see Chester home. This victory was the third on the bounce for Chester and was particularly pleasing as they had lost their previous two home games.
