Frenchman suffers fractured metatarsal

Barnet defender Kenny Gillet could be facing two months on the sidelines after breaking a metatarsal. The French left-back sustained the injury in the first half of Saturday's 1-0 victory at Chesterfield and was replaced by Nicky Nicolau. "Kenny has fractured the base of the second toe in his right foot," Barnet physio Mark Stein confirmed on the club's official website. Gillet has been a regular in the Barnet side since signing in late August and news of his injury will come as a major blow to manager Paul Fairclough. He is not expected to return to action until sometime in November. Captain Ismail Yakubu will also be assessed after picking up a calf injury at Saltergate.
