Ian Culverhouse delighted at defender's return to action

Wycombe Wanderers defender Will Antwi looks set to take part in his first competitive game in almost eight months. The centre-half sustained a groin injury in January and has been side-lined since, but the 24-year-old has now been pencilled in for the reserve game against Watford Wycombe assistant boss Ian Culverhouse expressed his delight at the fact that the defender now finally looks to be on the road to recovery. "There's a few players playing in it and hopefully Will Antwi might play some part." Culverhouse said. "He has marked that one down to make an appearance which would be great news for him and for the club. "He's a long way off and we don't want to push him too far too quickly, but he would be great for us. "Will was massive for us last year and it's nice to see him positive "There was a time last year when he couldn't see light at the end of the tunnel but he's turned the corner now and hopefully he can become a massive force for us."
