Parkinson 'greedy' for more

Phil Parkinson said he could not have expected anything more from new-look Bradford as he assessed their season's progress.

Parkinson made wholesale changes at Valley Parade in the summer and apart from the odd hiccup - the Bantams lost 4-0 at Rotherham last month - is delighted at the way his team has gelled together and the points tally they have garnered in the process. "If somebody had given us this points total and league position at this stage at the start of the season we would have taken it," Parkinson said. "We've got to be happy, but we're greedy because we want more points. Looking back though to pre-season when we had such a change around, to be where we are, in such a strong position to really move forward, yes we're happy with that. "But there is such a long way to go. There's no point in being happy with where we are now if we're not happy with where we are in May. So there's a long, hard season ahead of us and we have to build on the start we've made."
