Exeter boss Paul Tisdale was left purring with delight at Jamie Cureton's performance after winning 2-1 at Barnet in League Two on Tuesday.

His strikes at Underhill took him to nine goals for the season and Tisdale said: "Two goals from Jamie Cureton is great. For the second goal, he finished off a pretty fluent move and he was in the right place at the right time. "And the first was a very good and calm finish. When most others would have panicked in that position he slowed right down and coolly put it away. "I never wanted to let him go in the first place but it is great that he is back. "After two defeats it was important that we got a result, and it was very pleasing overall. "For a large part of the game we were very patient and sensible and the players understand their identity when they are in those situations and how they react to them and play together."
