Brentford have completed the signing of Jose Peleteiro Ramallo from Real Club Celta de Vigo for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old, nicknamed Jota, has penned a three-year deal at Griffin Park subject to international clearance.

Ramallo has been on the books of Celta Vigo since the age of 13 which included loan spells at Real Madrid B and Eibar, the latter of whom he helped reach promotion to La Liga for the first time in their history.

"Jota is a very, very talented left-sided attacking midfield player," Brentford manager Mark Warburton told the official club website.

"He offers us real technical craft, an attacking threat and excellent set-piece delivery.

"He adds another level of quality to the squad on top of the quality we brought in over the summer.
