Brentford sporting director Frank McParland has insisted that striker Will Grigg will not be sold this summer.
The 22-year-old Northern Ireland international joined the Bees from Walsall last summer, and scored five goals in 36 matches in the 2013/14 campaign.
Bristol City are reportedly interested in recruiting Grigg this summer, but McParland has made it clear that the striker is not for sale, while stating that Brentford have not received any bid for the youngster.
"We have received no contact from anyone regarding Will Grigg," Getwestlondon.com quotes him as saying.
"He's a big part of our plans for next season. We need good players who can score goals.
"The club invested a lot in Will and he's still under contract for another two years."
