Sky Sports understands a number of clubs, including two MLS sides are chasing Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson.
The 29-year-old shone for Brentford last season, scoring 24 goals for the Bees and helping them to reach the League One play-off final.
Donaldson has established himself as a key player at Brentford since arriving on a free transfer from Crewe in the summer of 2011.
The powerful striker is entering the final year of his contract at Griffin Park and several clubs are monitoring his situation.
MLS duo DC United and Houston Dynamo are both thought to be keeping tabs on Donaldson, while a number of Championship and League One clubs are ready to test Brentford's resolve to hang onto the player.
