Gillingham's on-loan striker Antonio German has been recalled by parent club Brentford.

German, 21, joined the Gills on a month-long deal towards the end of February and managed seven appearances in total, bagging the opener in a 2-1 victory over Plymouth at Priestfield. He was due to remain with the League Two leaders until Monday, taking in the Easter double-header against Fleetwood and Rotherham, but he will now instead be utilised by League One Brentford. Gills boss Martin Allen told the club's official website: "The good news is Myles Weston is now fully fit and we have four strikers with Danny Kedwell, Adam Birchall, Deon Burton and Westy."
