Rosler sets sights on cup run

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler has called on his Bees side to continue their FA Cup traditions after a 2-0 win over Boreham Wood.

Rosler's side proved too strong for the Blue Square Bet South high-fliers with first-half strikes from Clayton Donaldson and Harry Forrester settling matters. And Rosler wants the four-time quarter-finals finalists to mount another cup run. "We want to go far in this competition," said Rosler. "It's massively important for Brentford as a club and for me personally it's the biggest cup competition in the world, having played in cups in three different countries. "No other country is anywhere near the FA Cup with the history and level of excitement. "We really want to measure ourselves against the big fish, so that means pushing forward to the third round. "It was important to show our fans that we are taking the FA Cup very seriously indeed and they can be delighted with the way we set up and played it out."
