Fulham striker Marcello Trotta has signed a new deal to keep him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2015.

Striker happy to sign deal keeping him at club until 2015

Fulham striker Marcello Trotta has signed a new deal to keep him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2015. The Italian has been with the club for the past three years and made his debut as a substitute in the FA Cup tie against Everton last January. He has also spent time out on loan at Wycombe and Watford and is now looking to break into Martin Jol's first team on a more regular basis, having scored his first senior goals for the club in the recent pre-season fixture at Lok Leipzig. Trotta faces competition for a place in the side after Hugo Rodallega and Mladen Petric were signed over the summer, but he is looking forward to a long career at Fulham. "I am very happy to sign this contract and stay for another three years, hopefully more," he told the club's official website.
