Wycombe's preparations for the new season came to an end with a 4-1 defeat to Brentford in their final pre-season friendly.
A Harlee Dean own goal was the only thing for the home fans to cheer as the League One side cruised to victory. Clayton Donaldson gave the visitors the lead just before the break before Grant Basey's own goal doubled their advantage on the half-time whistle. Dean's own goal after the interval gave the hosts some hope but clinical finishing from Stuart Dallas and Kevin O'Connor put the game beyond doubt.
