Wycombe loanee Paul Hayes admits it will be a strange feeling when he faces his old side Scunthorpe on Saturday.
The former Iron striker netted 74 goals in two spells for Alan Knill's side before joining Preston and more recently Charlton.
Hayes' predicament is worsened by the positioning of the two clubs, both fighting to avoid relegation to League Two.
"It's my first time going back there. It's going to be very hard for myself to play there," he told the Bucks Free Press.
"But I'm a professional footballer and I've got a job to do.
"Everything fell for us on Saturday (the 5-0 win over Hartlepool). We've gone up the table a bit and Saturday is a massive, massive game for us."
