Gary Alexander feels his Brentford strike partnership with Clayton Donaldson is finally starting to flourish.
Donaldson has often found himself on his own up front this season after Alexander was ruled out for almost two months with due to injury.
But the duo are now back in tandem and helped the Bees move up to sixth with Saturday's 2-1 win over Hartlepool.
"I was out for a little while and we lost our understanding but the more we play together, the better we will become," said Alexander. "We are still learning, it's new to both of us.
"I missed two months but now we are back together hopefully we can click and start terrorising a few teams."
