Harry Forrester has finalised a two-year contract at Brentford after rejecting the chance to join Ajax.

Rosler delighted to secure services of former Villa youngster

Former Aston Villa youngster Harry Forrester has finalised a move to Brentford after rejecting the chance to join Ajax. Skysports.com revealed earlier on Thursday that Forrester was poised to join Brentford despite a recent trial with Ajax. He was offered a contract by the Dutch champions, however, the 20-year-old was keen to remain in English football. Forrester has now signed a two-year deal at Griffin Park and Bees boss Uwe Rosler is delighted to have secured the player. "Harry had been with us earlier in pre-season and I am very happy to have him on board," said Rosler. "We had a good look at him but he wanted to explore the possibility of playing for Ajax and he went there. "But he decided to come to us and we are very happy. He will fulfil a role that we are lacking. He can give us goals from midfield."
