Brentford have confirmed that Darius Charles will spend the 2008/09 season with Ebbsfleet.
The defender enjoyed a spell with the Blue Square Premier side towards the end of last season, making eight appearances as he helped the club secure 11th spot in the league.
He impressed the management staff at Ebbsfleet during his short time with the club, although he did not feature in their FA Trophy success against Torquay at Wembley.
The 20-year-old is a product of the Bees' youth academy, but having made just 25 appearances for the club is keen to experience regular first-team football.
While Charles will be hoping that his time away from Griffin Park is a temporary measure, his former team-mate Charlie Ide has seen his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
Another to make his way through the youth ranks at Brentford, Ide made 44 appearances for the Bees, scoring eight goals.
He had spent the last few months of the 2007/08 season on loan at Lewes and is now expected to sign for fellow Blue Square Premier side Grays on 1st July.
