Brentford have completed the signing of former Blackpool midfielder Marcus Bean.
The ex-QPR man was released by The Seasiders following the conclusion of the Championship campaign.
Bees boss Andy Scott has revealed the club have been tracking Bean for some time after being impressed with his displays while on loan at Rotherham.
"He's a player we have been tracking for a few months now after impressive displays for Rotherham when they were going well earlier in the season," Scott told the club's official website.
"He will be a good acquisition to the squad as he is a good age and brings with him enthusiasm, determination, physical strength and experience of the division."
Bean is the club's third signing this close season following the arrivals of Moses Ademola and Sam Wood.
