Rushden & Diamonds have signed defender Leo Roget on a free transfer from fellow Division Two side Brentford.
The former Southend United and Stockport County player has put pen-to-paper on a deal until the end of the season with the Nene Park outfit.
He was transfer-listed by The Bees back in September for ill-discipline after failing to apologise for being sent off in a match against Plymouth Argyle.
Diamonds boss Brian Talbot will hope the 26-year-old will be available for Saturday's home match against Oldham Athletic, should the club receive the necessary paperwork from The Football League in time.
Rushden are seven points off the play-off places in their first season in Division Two and Talbot will hope Roget's addition will help boost their push up the table.
Meanwhile, young striker Robert Traynor has joined non-league side Crawley Town on a month's loan while Finnish international goalkeeper Jani Viander has left Griffin Park after three weeks with the South West London club.
The custodian is due to move to a club in Israel.
