Rotherham defender Richard Brindley has joined Oxford on loan with a view to a permanent move.
The 21-year-old right-back has joined the League Two side for an initial month and is expected to be included in their squad for Saturday's game at Stevenage. Brindley, who joined Rotherham on a free transfer from Chesterfield in the summer of 2013, has made only 17 starts for the Millers. He recently completed a loan spell at Scunthorpe, where he made three first-team appearances, and follows former Rotherham defender Joe Skarz to the Kassam Stadium.
