Crawley have signed midfielder Mitchell Rose on a three-month loan deal from Rotherham.

The Reds have confirmed 20-year-old Rose is eligible to play in all competitions during his stay and is expected to play a part in their final pre-season friendly against a Chelsea XI on Saturday. Manager John Gregory told Crawley's website: "We felt we needed a bit more cover in midfield and Mitch is a player who has been on our radar for a while now. "Steve (Evans, Rotherham manager) has agreed to let him come down to us and I think he can play a part for us in League One during the next three months." Rose has made six first-team appearances for Rotherham and had a short loan spell at non-League Stamford at the beginning of 2013. He signed a new development contract with the Millers in May.
