QPR have recalled Crewe loanee Tom Hitchcock from his spell at Gresty Road to allow him to play in the FA Cup this weekend.
The 21-year-old has scored three times in the six games he has played for the Alex, whom he was due to remain with until January 7. However, with Steve Davis' men already out of the FA Cup and enjoying a free weekend, a deal was reached to allow Hitchcock to go back to his parent club for the third-round clash with Everton this weekend. Davis remains hopeful that Hitchcock could return to his squad on another loan deal following the FA Cup clash.
