Rotherham's late surge to promotion has been recognised as Steve Evans and Michael O'Connor were nominated for monthly gongs.

Evans, who celebrated a third successive promotion after two with Crawley, led the Millers to five wins from their final five games of the League Two campaign which propelled them from seventh position to an eventual second-place finish. The 50-year-old Scot has been nominated for the manager of the month gong and will battle it out with Bradford's Phil Parkinson and York's Nigel Worthington. O'Connor, meanwhile, was the heartbeat of the Millers' impressive finish, saving his best form of the season for the most important part and got on the scoresheet in the 4-1 win over Exeter. The Northern Ireland international midfielder is up against Chesterfield's Marc Richards and York's Chris Smith.
