Evans relishing Ferguson meeting

Rotherham manager Steve Evans is relishing his side coming up against former Scotland captain Barry Ferguson at Fleetwood on Tuesday.

Ferguson raised a few eyebrows when he joined the Cod Army on loan from Blackpool last week and Evans believes it adds a bit of spice to the game between the two promotion-chasing teams. "They're a tremendous side," Evans said. "There's going to be extra publicity because Barry Ferguson has signed for them. "His performances over the years in his career have been nothing short of outstanding and Fleetwood have really pulled it out of the bag. "He has been inspirational in his career. He is a top, top talent. I just don't know how they have got him there, it's a sensational piece of business."
