Rotherham got their pre-season campaign under way in style with a 6-0 win over Northern Counties neighbours Parkgate FC.
Youngster Alec Denton scored twice for the Millers with boss Steve Evans naming a different XI in each half.
An own goal put Rotherham ahead before Denton bagged a quickfire double and then teed up Alex Revell to make it 4-0 at half-time.
After the interval Kayode Odejayi scored within five minutes of his debut and another new signing, Daniel Nardiello, wrapped up the scoring near the end.
Former Swansea midfielder Scott Donnelly, who is a free agent, played the second half for the Millers.
