Sky Sports understands Charlton Athletic have won the race to sign Stevenage winger Lawrie Wilson.
The move will see Wilson return to the club where he started his career.
Wilson has established himself as a key member of the Stevenage side since arriving at the club in 2007, playing an instrumental role in their rise from the Conference to League One over the last couple of years.
A number of clubs have been weighing up moves for the player and Peterborough saw a bid for Wilson rejected last week.
Charlton have also made a bid for Wilson and it is thought they are close to finalising a move to bring the 24-year-old back to The Valley on a three-year deal.
