Rotherham defender Ryan Cresswell will not be going out on loan in the near future, according to team manager Andy Scott.
The 24-year-old was made available for loan in January in order to regain fitness after a long-standing ankle injury but he was poised to return to the first team after injuries and suspension.
However, the game against Torquay three weeks ago was lost to the weather, allowing Johnny Mullins to return to fitness and Cresswell has since been unable to force himself into Andy Scott's side.
But Scott insists he still needs the centre-half at Don Valley.
"Ideally we want him to play games but it's not feasible at the moment," the manager said. "I feel for Ryan. But from the club's selfish point of view, he's our player and he may be needed in the next few weeks to play.
"As the games go on in March it may be feasible but at the moment it's not something we're looking to do."
