Rotherham manager Andy Scott is confident his side's game at Southend on Friday night will beat the weather.
Last weekend's Football League fixture list was decimated by the weather and with freezing temperatures still lingering, doubts have been cast over the Roots Hall clash.
But Scott said: "We're pretty confident. They've got covers on the pitch and ones that cover down to minus five. They've had a thick cover as snow acts as insulation.
"But we aren't going to know until the covers are taken back and then we are reliant on the elements.
"We're preparing for the game as if it's going ahead. If we have to go down there and turn around and come back then that's what we'll have to do."
