Rotherham manager Andy Scott has challenged new loan signing Scott Griffiths to earn a permanent deal.
The 26-year-old joined until the end of the season on Tuesday from Peterborough, his third loan spell of the campaign following time at Crawley and Chesterfield.
Scott wants Griffiths to settle down and believes it can be at Don Valley, saying: "He is someone I have known a long time and when I was at Brentford I was keeping an eye on him. By going out on loan as many times as he has he has shown he wants to play football.
"Everyone I have spoken to about him is very complimentary about the way he plays and he's very intelligent.
"I am delighted to get him. He can fill the role that Jon (Harley) filled and gives us that continuity to allow us to carry on.
"It's time for him to start getting his career back on track and if he does well then in the summer we might be able to do something here."
