Rotherham United manager Andy Scott wants to sign on-loan midfielder Sam Wood on a permanent deal.
Wood is currently on loan at Don Valley until January from Scott's former club Brentford and the 25-year-old's impressive form has endeared him further to the Millers boss.
"Everyone can see what he brings to the squad and his versatility is very important," Scott said. "He has energy, work-rate and quality.
"We are delighted with him since he has come in.
"I knew Sam was a player I wanted at this club, I've wanted him for a while."
