Rotherham United manager Andy Scott is open to letting goalkeeper Andy Warrington leave Don Valley Stadium.

The 35-year-old veteran has been a mainstay of the Millers side since his arrival in 2007, but Scott has told him he will not be considered for selection this term.

With the arrival of Conrad Logan on loan from Leicester and a new deal offered to youngster Jamie Annerson, Warrington is free to find another club.

"I spoke to Andy at the end of the season and said I was looking to bring another goalkeeper in, and he wasn't going to be first choice and was more than likely going to be third choice," Scott said.

"That hasn't stopped him working hard, his attitude is fantastic and he has served the club well.

"Andy obviously wants to play and I understand that and if he can find a move we wouldn't stand in his way."
