Carlisle goalkeeper Adam Collin has labelled Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy triumph as the highlight of his career.
Collin finished with a runners-up medal 12 months ago as the Cumbrians were unravelled by Southampton, but he banished the nightmares of that day with a clean sheet and a fairly quiet afternoon against Brentford as United emerged victorious at Wembley courtesy of Peter Murphy's solitary strike. The 26-year-old told Carlisle's official website: "This is a fantastic feeling. We all wanted to put it right after last year and I think, with the way we played, we fully deserved the win. "It's just a great achievement for everyone and I think we were really focused going into this game. There was a determination to do things right and I don't think many people will argue with the result. "It's good that we've brought a bit of success to the club and to see the way the fans stayed behind and clapped us makes it all worthwhile. They deserved that as much as anyone. "It's definitely the high point of my career so far but we think there's more to come from us. If we can keep improving the way we are then hopefully we'll have more days like this."
