Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore is keen to bring Burton Albion striker Shaun Harrad to the promotion-chasing club.
Despite having a strikeforce of Adam Le Fondre and Ryan Taylor, who between them boast 20 league goals this season, Moore is keen to bolster his unit and has targeted the 26-year-old.
"I'm always looking for players, if good players become available then if we can do something we will," said Moore.
"Harrad hasn't being playing in Burton's team, he is out of contract in the summer and he has said he is not going to sign a new one so we have to be interested.
"He scored a hat-trick against us earlier this season and scored 20 goals last season.
"He's exactly the sort of player we want here, so we will wait and see on that one."
