Southampton have received a boost after summer signing Frazer Richardson came through a practice match.
The former Leeds and Charlton full-back suffered a dislocated shoulder in pre-season but is finally close to making his Saints debut - although Saturday's trip to Huddersfield will probably come too soon. "It's up to the gaffer but I think I'll be there or thereabouts in a week's time," he said. "Hopefully I'll travel up to Huddersfield and be involved with the team, and then take it from there."
