Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock hopes Claude Davis did not sustain a serious injury at Wolves.

Manager delighted with display at Molineux

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is hopeful Claude Davis did not sustain a serious injury in the 2-2 FA Cup fourth-round draw at Wolves. The defender was stretchered off midway through the first half after an innocuous aerial challenge with Sam Vokes. He received around five minutes of attention from as many as 10 medical staff before heading to hospital. But Warnock played down any concerns over a serious injury, saying: "We should know later today, he's had a scan locally and they couldn't see anything wrong with his neck. "But the consultant wants to look at him first before they let him out. We're hoping he'll be all right." Incredible Alan Lee silenced the 14,449 inside Molineux when he headed Palace into the lead as early as the third minute, although David Jones' strike levelled matters before the interval. Darren Ambrose registered his 14th goal of the season in the 49th minute courtesy of a well-taken free-kick. And that looked to be enough to secure Palace's place in the fifth round for the first time in seven seasons, that was until Ronald Zubar salvaged a draw late on with a sublime turn and volley. Warnock said: "I can't say enough good things about my side - an absolutely incredible little bunch. "We deserve to be in the hat and it will not be an easy game for them down at Selhurst Park."
