Defender Nick Fenton will stay at Rotherham next season after signing a two-year contract extension.
Fenton becomes the sixth Rotherham player this week to sign a contract extension after Stephen Brogan, Ryan Taylor, Drewe Broughton, David Haggerty and Dale Tonge all recently agreed new terms with the club.
The 29-year-old has held down a regular spot alongside Ian Sharps at centre-back since joining the Millers from Grimsby last summer and thinks the extension is a deserved reward for his consistent performances.
"The new deal will keep me at the club for another two years, which is fantastic," Fenton told the club's official website.
"I feel I have done well this season and the gaffer did say that if things went well he would reward me, so he has kept his promise."
Fenton racked up 56 appearances during the course of the season as Rotherham easily avoided relegation despite a 17-point deduction.
