Cann suffers dislocated shoulder in training

Rotherham United youngster Steven Cann faces a spell out of action after dislocating his shoulder. The goalkeeper, who moved to Millmoor on a free transfer in the summer, picked up the problem in training on Monday. He is likely to require an operation on the injury, with Rotherham waiting to learn how long Cann will be sidelined. "We have had a fresh injury to Steven Cann. He dislocated his left shoulder in training," physio Dennis Circuit told the club's official website. "He was in hospital for two hours and later we are going to see a consultant in Sheffield. Only then will we know the extent of the problem. "In the next week he will probably be having an operation to rectify the problem." Cann has been on the bench for every Rotherham game this season, providing the back-up to first choice Andy Warrington.
