Summer recruit to undergo surgery

Rotherham midfielder Mark Hudson looks set to be sidelined until November after sustaining a knee injury against Sheffield United. Hudson will have an operation on Thursday morning and will have to wait to learn how severe the injury is. Reports suggest the former Huddersfield man could be out for up to 16 weeks and Rotherham manager Mark Robins admits he is concerned. "Mark Hudson's injury is such a blow to us and to himself," said Robins. "His cruciate is still intact, so depending on whether the hospital find the full extent of the injury we will have to wait and see."
