Rotherham midfielder Lee Williamson has been ruled out of action for several weeks.

The 24-year-old has suffered a broken toe and will remain on the sidelines for Rotherham's next few games.

The news will come as a major blow to manager Alan Knill, as Williamson has been a key player for The Millers this season.

He has made 20 appearances already this term and scored six goals to help Rotherham climb off the bottom of League One.

Williamson, who joined Rotherham from Northampton last summer, was substituted at half time in Saturday's FA Cup defeat at Peterborough.
